June 18 - Gov. Ventura announced on MPR's Midday Tuesday that he will not seek a second term. Ventura says he made the decision prior to his trip to China last week. After his announcement, Ventura lashed out at staffers at the Governor's Mansion, who claim Ventura's adult son trashed the mansion during parties. But Ventura said the mansion flap had nothing to do with his decision. (More| Listen)
