A Ventura report card
Nov. 25, 2002 - On a scale of one to 10, Gov. Jesse Ventura's administration received an overall score of just under 7 on accomplishing its goals, according to an evaluation released by his administration. Those were some the areas for which he received the highest marks. On other key issues, he fell far short of what he'd hoped to accomplish. (More) Ventura wraps up China trip
July 2002 - Gov. Jesse Ventura is returning home to Minnesota, after a last day of events in Shanghai. Ventura visited the 3M facility and a children's hospital in that city. Ventura and some 100 government and business leaders have spent the last week in Beijing and Shanghai drumming up support for Minnesota goods and services. The governor and members of the delegation are calling the trip an unqualified success. (More)

Gov. Jesse Ventura, the former pro wrestler who stunned the political world when he was elected in 1998, announced that one term is enough. "I am not seeking reelection right now," Ventura said in an interview broadcast live on Minnesota Public Radio. "I will not run again." June 18, 2002
