Statement from the candidate:
I am running to provide the voters in 9A a real choice. There are many issues facing the state today. The major ones are 1)health care, 2) education (k-12 and higher ed.), 3) human rights, and, 4) increasing taxes on the rich and corporations to make them pay their fair share. Working people need a voice in the state house and I will provide that for them when I am elected.

Biography:
I live in north Moorhead and have a 12-year-old son and a 20-year-old daughter. I am a teacher at North Dakota State University where I teach counseling. Previously I worked as a counselor in a number of community settings, was a community researcher and a union organizer.
