Election 2006: What did it all mean?

DFLers won Minnesota's open U.S. Senate seat, but came up short in the governor's race. Democrats picked off 1st District U.S. Rep. Gil Gutknecht, took the Minnesota House and made gains in the state Senate. But DFL Senate Majority Leader Dean Johnson narrowly lost his seat in the Legislature.
