Guests:
Dennis Gabinski, manager of Upsala Cooperative Phone company who has made his town (population 400) one of the more unexpected technological wonders of the world. He'll address the hows and whys of wiring the village.

Jane Leonard, from the Minnesota Office of Technology. She'll address the broader range of what's happening across rural Minnesota in technology advances.

Mike Fairchild, editor of the bimonthly Northern Echo in Littlefork and a city councilman in this northern town of 800. Twice as big as Upsala, it's looking to be hooked up to the Internet.

Hour Two: Technology's Impact on Education in Rural Minnesota

Guests:
Dr. Jim Benson, president of Bemidij State University. Benson serves on advisory boards for technology magnet schools and may address issues relating to technology in higher education.

Carey Jacobson, Little Falls School Superintendent. Under current plans, in the next seven years each student in the Liitle Falls district will have a computer.

Peg Werner, an advocated for technology in education.

Charles Kapsner, a Little falls artist who is working on a huge school mural. He'll be watched via Internet by art students around the state.
