7th District
The 7th Congressional District covers the northwest corner of Minnesota, from the wheat-farming plains up near North Dakota, around Sauk Centre and St. Cloud. The political traditions in the district vary from area to area. Some wheat counties are heavily DFL; Otter Tail County leans Republican; St. Cloud and Stearns County are volatile.
