(1/8/00) - Some Minnesota lawmakers have tried for years to lower the drunk driving threshold from a blood-alcohol content of .10 to .08. This year, supporters say a new federal law gives them extra leverage for passing the stricter standard. Millie Webb, national president of MADD, was at the Capitol to lobby for the effort.
