Mark Stenglein
Stenglein, 45, was raised in St. Anthony Village, graduaated from Fridley Grace High School in 1974, from St. Thomas University in 1978 and was awarded a Master's in international management from St. Thomas in 1989. He spent several years working in the Middle East in accounting-related areas. He opened a business leasing offices to independent businesspeople in 1989, selling it in 2000. He was elected as Hennepin County commissioner in 1996.

Stenglein is married (Lynette) and has three children.
