A passion for hockey

St. Paul, Minn. — If you follow politics in Minnesota, you probably know the name Pat Forciea. He has developed a reputation as a leading DFL strategist. But he is just as passionate about hockey as he is about politics.

Forciea grew up in the Iron Range town of Coleraine, which has a strong hockey tradition. Forciea says there is a natural rivalry between Iron Range towns like Coleraine and the hockey powerhouses in Roseau and Warroad.

MPR's Cathy Wurzer talked to Forciea about his experiences growing up playing goalie.
