Accessibility at the fair

St. Paul, Minn. — Since the early 1990s, the Minnesota State Fair has been actively working to improve accessibility for people who have disabilities. That means updating some old buildings, and providing many new services.

Mike Chevrette runs a travel agency for people with disabilities, called Easy Access Adventures. He himself is in a wheelchair, and he joined Morning Edition host Cathy Wurzer at the State Fair on a recent day. Chevrette says that, overall, the accessiblity at the fair is quite good.
