In the wake of bus strike, commuters jump into the car pool

Minneapolis, Minn. — Many regular bus riders have turned to carpooling to get around during the strike by Metro Transit bus drivers.

The Metro Transit Web site helps carpool hunters find each other; that's how Theresa Sheehy, April Bergman, and Rachel, Sours-Page met.

MPR All Things Considered host David Molpus tagged along Friday on their commute from southwest Minneapolis to downtown.
