Veterans Day is a day set aside to remember the sacrifices of the nation's war veterans. This fall, a Minneapolis artist erected his own memorial to honor those killed in the war in Iraq.

Minneapolis, Minn. — The man who choses to be known as 'Anonymous Soldier' created a series of small plaques and fastened them to wooden bridges over Minnehaha Creek. The Minneapolis Park Board has since removed it, but the artist says his memorial will live on.
