St. Paul, Minn. — Though just 22, the pianist Lang Lang has already established himself an international cross-over classical music artist. He talks with host Mindy Ratner about growing up in China and how the American cartoon "Tom and Jerry" gave him an appreciation for classical music.
Lang Lang was in the Twin Cities last Fall as part of the Schubert Club's international artists series. MPR classical music stations broadcast the complete recital on March 1.
