St. Paul, Minn. — Twin Cities novelist Chuck Logan's heroes don't get much rest. Logan, who lives in Stillwater, continues the story of retired undercover cop Phil Broker in his new novel, "Homefront."
"Homefront" is the sixth book in his series featuring Broker and his special forces wife Nina Pryce. This story begins where the last one, "After the Rain," left off.
In that book, Broker and Pryce foiled a terrorist plot to blow up the Prairie Island nuclear power plant, but Nina is badly injured.
In "Homefront," Broker, Pryce and their daughter Kit move to a small northern Minnesota town to recuperate. But trouble finds them in the shape of a playground bully, who confronts Kit, and larger problems arise from that chance encounter.
