Minneapolis, Minn. — Blowing bubbles. Most of us did it as kids on a small scale, but a Minnesota-based company is taking it to the extreme. The Xtreme Bubble team will almost definitely set a record for blowing the world's largest free-floating soap bubble.
They did it at the University of Minnesota, where a mathmatics professor photographed and verified the bubble's size (See Flash presentation below).
The team is virtually guaranteed to set the world record, because nobody has ever tried to do it before. Tom Crann talked with David Erck, of the Xtreme Bubbles Company. Select the audio link on the right.
