LTV Corporation closed its Minnesota iron mine and taconite plant in 2001, putting some 1,300 people out of work. These trucks belong to Hoover Construction of Virginia, which has been reclaiming the closed iron mining pits. (Photo Courtesy of Hoover Construction, Virginia MN)
