Guest: Raymond Tanter, a visiting fellow at the Washington Institute for Near East Policy. He's a member of the Council on Foreign Relations, and was on the National Security Council during the Reagan administration.

HOUR 2: (10 a.m.) Choral music

A special edition samples choral music traditions and talks about the significance of the 6th World Symposium on Choral Music, happening this week in Minneapolis.

Guest: Anton Armstrong is and Conductor of the St. Olaf Choir. Libby Larsen is one of Minnesota's best-known composers. She writes music for orchestras, opera companies, choral groups and chamber ensembles. Cantus is an a cappell male chamber ensemble based in the Twin Cities. Erick Lichte is the director of Cantus' artistic committee.

Guest: Susan Gaertner is Ramsey County Attorney. Steve Simon heads the state's DWI Task Force. He's a DWI researcher and clinical professor at the University of Minnesota Law School.
