Select A Candidate - President
Cumulative Results

This survey is not designed to tell you what candidate you should vote for. It is intended only to help you think about your positions and then introduce you to the candidates. We have an extensive collection of information about each candidate, and their positions are much more detailed than what appears on this survey. So we encourage you to spend time on each of the pages, read the stories, listen to the candidates' own words, and learn more about each of them before deciding.

Each finished survey shows one or more candidates to be closest to the survey-taker's preferences on a set of issues. Each time a candidate is in the lead position, he scores a point. (Because of ties, multiple candidates may score a point from any single survey.) The percentage shown here is determined by adding all the points the candidate has received, dividing that number by the total number of surveys taken, and multiplying the result by 100.

Issues ranking methodology: Each issue percentage is calculated by dividing the total number of persons rating the issue "important" by the total number of persons taking the survey. Although an individual may take the survey multiple times, only the first instance of the survey is used in determining this cumulative result.
