St. Paul, Minn. — The expansion and reopening of the Walker Art Center in Minneapolis has attracted international attention, but one of the details that's attracting the most notice is an international name -- of a chef.

Wolfgang Puck is behind the Walker's signature restaurant, 20.21, which opens to the public this week. 20.21 is the latest fine dining effort of Puck, the celebrated chef and culinary emperor whose restaurants include Spago, Chinois, and Granita, among others.

Puck is in the Twin Cities for the opening, and spoke with MPR's Tom Crann. He describes the Asian-inspired 20.21 as a merger of contemporary art and contemporary cuisine.
