Direct Marketing Association
This links to a form which you can fill out to keep from getting junk mail. Not all companies use MPS to purge their mailing lists, therefore, you may continue to receive some companies' promotions. In this instance, contact the company directly and ask to be placed on the company's do-not-mail file.

Privacy Journal
Privacy Journal is a monthly newsletter reporting on new technology and its impact on personal privacy. It was founded in 1974 in Washington, D.C., and is now based in Providence, R.I. Robert Ellis Smith, Privacy Journal's publisher, is a journalist who uses his training as an attorney to write and edit the newsletter. He is a frequent speaker and book author about all aspects of privacy.
