What are the most important actions citizens can take to help clean up Minnesota's rivers?
The most important action that citizens can take to help clean up Minnesota rivers is to get involved. Citizens need to contact their county governments and ask what can be done to protect our rivers. Citizens need to find out what their local government is doing to protect rivers. Citizens need to make the health of our rivers a campaign issue during local, state, and national elections. Citizens can join organizations dedicated to the protection and restoration of our rivers.
